Hey! It’s been a long, long time.
I’m excited to be back and to truly prioritize my writing and my dream again. I have so much planned for this year, and one of my biggest goals is holding myself accountable so I can actually see those plans through.
I know success doesn’t happen overnight—but this year, I’m committing to finding my readers and growing my audience in a way that feels intentional and authentic.
Putting Writing First
The first change I’m making? I’m putting writing first. My friend Rachel and I meet every Tuesday to talk life and books, and I’m happy to say we finally have a solid plan in place for the year ahead.
The Blackwell Contract Update
On the writing front, my close beta readers officially started The Blackwell Contract on January 6th. This is my first round of feedback, and once that’s complete, I’ll be making my way through edits!
Behind the Scenes
If you want a more in-depth look at what I’m working toward, my 2026 Goals & 2025 Recap video is live on YouTube—you can watch it here: My Goals for 2026
You can also keep up with me through my vlogs, but if you haven’t been watching, I’m currently working on a short story that’s a little different from my usual romance novels. I’m hoping to pivot back to Jane and Sebastian by the end of the month.
Events & Book News
I also mentioned in that video that one of my goals is to attend at least two events in 2026 that aren’t run or hosted by me. I’m excited to say I’m officially registered for the Mid-Ohio Indies Book Expo in Grove City, Ohio on August 8th! More details can be found here:
In other exciting news, Summer Love: New York City officially has a re-release date of February 21st! (It is out now!)
I’ve also opened a Wholesale Order Form for indie bookstores that would like to purchase directly from me. If you’re a bookstore and interested, the form is linked in the text.
A Small Milestone
And finally—on February 14th, it will be seven years since I first published a book. It’s been a journey, and I’ve learned so much along the way. I’m incredibly grateful and genuinely excited for what’s to come.
I can also share that my favorite author, Anna Todd, blurbed "Sugar & Spice." You can see that on all future copies ordered!
February Update:
Hey! I hate to end this on a downer, however, my grandma did pass away on February 2nd. February has been a month of grieving and focusing on schoolwork. I am back at it though, and editing The Blackwell Contract. So things are happening behind-the-scenes, but I did take a big break on vlogging to fully prepare myself before jumping back into the camera and video editing.
Onward and upward!
